Affordable, amazing foundation
Today I was all set to upload a blog I’d written a few weeks ago claiming that foundations are something you should splash out on, and that if you wanted quality you need to pay for it. But I am happy to admit I was completely wrong!
I’ve found an amazing foundation and it’s under £10!
I’ve been looking for a Nars Sheer Glow foundation dupe for awhile, and after doing some last minute research in the isles of Boots last week I decided to go for Rimmel London Match Perfection foundation in Ivory.
Guys. I. Love. It! Look how amazing it makes my skin look, here’s a before and after from yesterday.
The foundation is light on your skin and looks dewy, it’s a really good match for my skin colour. It’s not a high coverage but even with my highest coverage foundation I still cover any spots with concealer. But as you can see my face is always really red and blotchy and this covers it really well.
Normally with drug store foundations I find that it’s staying time isn’t very good, so you get home from work and it’s all gone from your face but this is different. I do always powder lightly over the top with Rimmel stay matte powder too just to help the staying power. I can go out all day and evening and this foundation still looks great when I get in at night.
So if you’re in the market for a new foundation I’d give this a go, and right now in Boots it’s buy one get one half price on Rimmel.
